About

“So Petty” was formed about 7 months prior to the passing of our beloved Tom Petty and has catapulted as one of the fastest-growing tribute bands in Southern California.

So Petty performs all of Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker’s greatest hits, some deep tracks as well as some Traveling Wilburys. So Petty has a 100% rebooking rate and Petty fans across the Nation are jumping on board and watching the FB lives and asking when So Petty will perform in their city.

Michael Seiker

Michael David Seiker is a natural virtuoso on the drums Mike has played with all the members of So Petty in several different bands. Mike is the common denominator with all of the band members and the glue that holds us all together. Mike declined putting a bio together as he’s not one to attract attention to himself and spends a lot of his time and energy doing charitable work and is a mentor to many people battling addiction’s. Mike is a true family man. Mike did share that his favorite Petty songs are “Out in the Cold” and “American Girl.”

Chris Wheeler

Playing the part of the great Mike Campbell, our lead guitarist and musical director is Chris Wheeler. Chris was lucky enough to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on their third to the last show at the Hollywood Bowl. Chris has a passion for carrying on the musical legacy of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers which drives him to deliver the most realistic, high energy, live performance that Tom would be proud of. “It’s Good to Be King” is Chris’s favorite song to play.

George Moore

Our bass player, George Moore has perfected his craft over the past three decades playing in multiple bands and performing all throughout Southern California.
